Why I like riding horses better than riding motorcycles, reasons 42-49:

Horses have a brain.

Horses have common sense, or at least sense. (Some would call it horse sense.)

Horses have fear.

If a horse sees something in its way, it will usually not crash into it.

Horses can only go so fast. When they do, reigns and bits often help convince them to slow down while staying upright.

Horses do not often flip over. They may rear up, but when they do, they have a lot more balance and a bit more to hold onto than a bike doing a pop-a-wheelie.

After being thrown from a horse a certain number of times, it is said, one becomes an expert rider. After being thrown from a bike, one often does not have another chance. (The exceptions to either rule are proportionately convincing as well.)

When one is riding behind someone else on a horse, one has much more room and is usually much safer than one riding behind someone else on a bike.
