Two months. It didn't seem like two months. Probably because of my class and my work and attempting to get a social life. I made friends with a couple of folks from my class, so that was nice... we're still in touch now, a month after class ended.
Maybe I should look at my grade one of these days.
I moved offices almost two months ago, still in the same group of people with the same main boss, but a little bit different environment. It's been very interesting. Very, very interesting.
I'm going to Boston for Thanksgiving! I can't even express how excited I am. Even though I'm tired out my gourd right now after being on duty yesterday/this morning, I'm very nearly able to smile real big about my Boston plans. I called my Aunt and Uncle and Cousins (one of my cousins is also my Godfather) on Sunday and she said she'd be glad if I came up, and I'm sure glad to have the chance. We'll already have five days off at work and I'm going to ask for a few more days so I'll be able to really enjoy the whole trip. Of course, it'll all be charged as leave anyway, but I've got something like 45 days stored up at this point, which is friggin' rediculous for a kid as new as me. It's time to start burning that up..
I may try for the Garlic Fest in the Burg this year, too, or will certainly be visiting there by next summer in time for waterski season. Everything I do down here these days has been reminding me of someone or something up there, and I miss it somethin' aweful. I miss the mountains a lot, and the general vibe of the place. April was a year since my last visit.
Anyway, I need to run.. but I'll blog again soon.
Love ya'll!
