I'm having one of those days where I just don't want to DO anything. Not even one of those days where I just want to sleep or laze around or whatnot... because even those are really doing something.
I did get some of my laundry done to get my uniforms ready for this week (it's going to be a VERY big week, three-working-days though it may be) and made myself a nice lunch and got the leftover chicken all sorted and into freezer containers. I also spent a bit of time online earlier chatting with a few folks on AIM and fiddling with my personal life... but that's about it. I took a little walk, too, but just down to my favorite tree (and to see that the little canal coming in from the river is so low that all the mush and garbage on the bottom is above the water level for most of it, and it smells really bad) and then I laid in her branches and nearly slept. That's been my day -- sleeping, doing nothing, trying to find a way to do nothing without sleeping since I don't really want to sleep.
I started a new allergy medication (because the doctors still think this breathing trouble is allergies, but my last one promised that if this medication doesn't work, we'll start really testing for asthma and such) and it's more like benedryl, and I'm assuming that this do-nothing day is a result of that. I nearly passed out last night at Guiness night when the medication apparently decided that it doesn't play nice with beer. There was nothing on the warning labels, and I only had two over a three hour period (which is pretty normal for me) and had been plenty hydrated and plenty well-fed... so whatever.
I'm waiting for House to come on at eight, because one of the episodes tonight will be one of the ones I missed. I can't right now even figure out why I missed this episode. Apparently something significant was happening in my life. The other episode I missed (when I was flying to DC in April) will be on next week.
That's my one big thing for today.
Time to go get my uniforms out of the dryer before they wrinkle up.
