What a beautiful piece of heartache this has all turned out to be. Lord knows we've learned the hard way all about healthy apathy. And I use these words pretty loosely. There's so much more to life than words..
I really think I'll be ok. They've taken their toll these latter days.

(I've been meaning to mention that for roughly the past month I've been maintaining just over my high school weight, which is much less scary than being several pounds less than that. I went out this past weekend and bought some clothes that actually fit me, so that will be a good way to see if my size is doing well or I'm still out of control... the last few times I've bought jeans here that fit perfectly, they were falling off within a month... here's hoping these ones don't have that problem.)
Here's hoping you grow out of them by the time you leave there. (Not that I wish extra expenses for you, but still....) :-)

Yes, indeed, since I still have my old jeans and the interim pairs, I'd be quite ok with outgrowing these ones ... so long as they don't become big on me, I'll be fine either way. The couple of folks who saw me in my civvies today were pleasantly surprised to see me in jeans that fit, so that made me feel better about the expense. Plus I bought them at a local market, so they didn't cost a great deal. :)
