What a beautiful piece of heartache this has all turned out to be. Lord knows we've learned the hard way all about healthy apathy. And I use these words pretty loosely. There's so much more to life than words..

Thanks moM, and Caren, and Bethalini! My day was indeed lovely. I did not get the card or the package yet... I got one package that was mailed from DC on Dec 12 and I got it on Wednesday, so 14 days... There has been an AMAZING amount of mail coming in for everyone lately, so that slows it all down in the once-it-gets-to-the-APO/FPO-sorting-area even more than the rest of the world.... but I'm waiting!!
