I'm pretty sure that my main interest in the Navy (why I joined, why I'm still here, why I'm ever tempted to stay in past my current contract) is in sociologically analyzing it all, and in so doing, gaining a new (and more-extreme) sociological perspective on modern American society.

This all from one who would not get a degree in sociology.. but I love the armchair style.
