I have gotten B&B's letter and package, P&K's letter, M&D's card, Uncle Bob's card, and now J&B's card AND the package! So the mail system DOES work, if a lot slower than some others. And of course, there have been e-mails and posts and lots of other holiday updates. What beautiful pictures, what wonderful surprises, what nicely written letters! I plan to do a birthday letter again, but of course I am still the queen of procrastinators and might not get to it.
I had a one-disc VM marathon and got a friend hooked on it (thanks so much! I think I hadn't seen any of the first season and it's a great one!!! My favorite line so far was "You're flat" ... "I'm just as God intended!") so now I need to wait for said friend to be free to continue watching...
I am going to take a nap, as I'm completely drained. I had friends say there was a going-away tonight, but I feel like there was some cosmic hint for me not to end up there, so I'll probably just stay home and watch movies, as I often do. It's nice to escape sometimes, and I need it right now. 'Nite.
Yay, I'm so glad you got the stuff we sent! And in my opinion the first season of VM IS the best, so I'm so glad you're finally getting to watch it -- and to introduce someone else to it. Spread the goodness, baby! :-)

ReplyDeleteDid I mention that along with how adorable your cabbage-patch-esque baby is, I was also told by our local that she looks exactly like Michelle from Full House, "those twins that play one girl"... and in that picture, I've got to agree. You Got It, Dude!
Ack. :-P That's not the first we've heard that, though (actually, the chick at the portrait place when we were choosing our pictures said the same thing -- me, I don't so much see it). But then, I don't think she looks completely like herself in that Christmas card picture. Someone else said she looked like a little elf. :-)
